Shipbreaking scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market increased by INR 200/t d-o-d. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 49,000/t, while attachment prices are assessed at INR 50,000/t exy. Prices rose sharply during the second half of yesterday’s trading session in semi-finished steel which supported scrap suppliers to marginally increase offer prices today.
