Raipur- based steel wire rod manufacturers observed moderate transactions in the spot market, while prices further drop today by INR 500/t to INR 59,500/t exw on 5 May’22. However, highly volatile semi-finished steel prices forced suppliers to adjust the tradable values by fluctuating the trade discounts, which were hovering around INR 500-800/t.
