Vizag Steel, the state-owned steel producer, held a pooled iron auction on 4 May’22. The entire quantity of 1,050 t has been booked at INR 52,500-600/t exw. In its last auction held on mid of February, a total of 1,550 t was booked at INR 43,500/t exw. SteelMint’s assessment of foundry grade pig stands at INR 60,200/t exw-Hyderabad on 4 May.
