India: About 2,000 t of IF-route billets sold to Nepal

In a fresh deal reported to SteelMint, about 2,000 t of induction route (IF) billets were sold to Nepal at around $700-705/t exw by eastern India-based mills, equivalent to $725-730/t CPT Nepal.
Unscheduled power cuts in Nepal resulted in increased booking of billets instead of sponge iron from India. Meanwhile, fresh offers of CDRI FeM 80% (70% Lumps, 30% Fines) stood at around $510/t, CPT Nepal.
