Central India-based re-bar mills reduce prices up to INR 1,300/t ($17)

Raipur-based Goel TMT has reduced rebar prices by INR 1,300/t to INR 62,000/t exw, while GK TMT has cut prices by INR 1,000/t to INR 62,000/t exw. Prices are for re-bar (Fe-500D, 10-25 mm), excluding GST. Declining demand due to high prices and the slowdown in sponge iron and billet prices have forced producers to slash rebar prices in central India.
