India: Tata Steel’s 6 mnt Kalinganagar pellet plant to be commissioned in Q3FY’23

Indian steel giant Tata Steel’s 6 mnt/year pellet plant will be commissioned in Q3FY’23 in Odisha’s Kalinganagar followed by the cold rolling mill (CRM) complex and the 5mnt/year phase II expansion of the Kalinganagar plant, SteelMint learnt from company sources. With the commissioning of the pellet plant and CRM complex, the steelmaker will be able to save costs and enrich its product mix.
