Turkey: Flat steel exports up 28% m-o-m to 0.62 mnt in Mar’22

Flat steel exports by Turkish mills rose by 28% to 0.62 mnt in March 2022, against 0.48 mnt a month ago. The largest share of exports was of pipes and tubes at 0.2 mnt, followed by HRC and plates at 0.18 mnt, and galvanised steel at 0.15 mnt. Italy, Egypt and Spain were the leading importers of flat steel from Turkey during the month.
