India: Falling LME prices pull down aluminium scrap import prices

Prices of imported aluminium wheel scrap (solid, loose), CFR Nhava Sheva, UK-origin fell by $130/t today, while aluminium zorba 95-5 (20mm solid, shredded), CFR Nhava Sheva, UK-origin prices fell by $70/t as against 26 Apr’22, weighed down by falling LME prices.
The effective import prices of wheel scrap are at $3,020/t and zorba 95-5 scrap at $2,140/t CFR Nhava Sheva.
LME aluminium cash prices opened at $2,995/t today, falling 1.45% as against the last trading day.
