India: Melting scrap prices witness mild swings in key markets

Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across markets on 3 May 2022, as per SteelMint assessment. While prices saw an uptick in Gujarat markets, particularly in Alang, due to supply shortage, the same corrected in northern markets due to lack of semis demand. In southern markets, prices were almost stable due to inactive trade on account of Eid holiday.
