India: Vedanta cuts foundry grade pig iron offers by INR 1,500/t ($20)

Vedanta Resources, a leading domestic pig iron manufacturer in western India, reduced prices for Gujarat and Maharashtra based buyers.
Current offers for foundry grade pig iron are at INR 66,000/t delivered (DAP) to Ahmedabad and INR 65,000/t DAP Kolhapur.
Fall in export realisations and declining domestic steel and pig iron prices led to a drop in offers. SteelMint’s weekly pig iron export price assessment fell by $30/t.
