MRPL pet coke prices have risen to their all-time high as prices for road supply rose sharply by INR 4,140/t to INR 20,640/t for May’22. On a y-o-y basis, the rise is over 100%. Prices for rail supply have also been increased to INR 20,340/t. The sharp rise in MRPL prices comes in line with a moderate rise in RIL prices. The price variation between the two refineries now stands at INR 1,617/t.
