Ferrous scrap prices witnessed minor fluctuations across markets on 2 May’22. Prices remained somewhat supported in the north India-based markets, especially Mandi Gobindgarh, following an improvement in semi-finished steel prices. On the other hand, in western Indian scrap prices corrected downwards due to lack of buying interest, while in south India prices remained unchanged d-o-d.
