China: Iron ore spot prices rangebound ahead of Labour Day holidays

As the Chinese market eased into the Labour Day holidays, the spot price of iron ore remained stable. The benchmark Fe 62% fines prices inched up by $0.35/t to $142.35/t CFR China on 29 Apr’22. Seaborne trading activity remained subdued, but volumes increased throughout the week due to the narrowing seaborne-portside price spread.
