Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 4,740/t ($719/t) on 29 April 2022, inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for October 2022 delivery closed today at RMB 4,910/t ($745/t), witnessing a d-o-d recovery of RMB 60/t ($9/t).
