- Total traffic of iron ore at Indian ports was recorded at 76.6 mnt in FY’22, down 27% y-o-y as against 104.66 mnt in FY’21.
- Paradip remained the largest iron ore-handling port at 20.6 mnt, accounting for 27% of total iron ore handled during FY’22.
- Vizag was the second-largest port in terms of iron ore cargo handling at 14.26 mnt followed by Hazira at 12.95 mnt.
