India: About 7,000 t of sponge iron sold in Raipur as offers stay firm

SteelMint’s assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) remains stable at INR 35,500/t exw Raipur. With demand being boosted today, selling pressure narrowed down with major sponge producers in Raipur.
About 7,000 t of deals for FeM 80% material were reported at around INR 35,400-35,700/t exw, while deals for sponge DR CLO grade were reported at INR 39,000-39,500/t exw Raipur.
