Export offers for hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50mm, 900-1,250mm) from India declined by $55/t at INR $1,275/t FOB west coast on bearish sentiments and poor enquiries in the market owing to Europe and UK markets drying up. India’s HDGI exports in FY’22 stood at around 1.95 mnt. Belgium, Italy, United Kingdom, Poland and Spain were the top importers.
