Indian exporters have maintained their offers for Mill scale since last week. Mill scale which is waste generated during rolling of billet/ingot, having high Fe content interestingly does not attract any export duty, unlike iron ore fines.
“We are keeping our offers same at around $136/t CFR China in bulk. There were not many queries last week as Chinese buyers were quite due to holidays in China”, said an exporter based in Eastern coast of India.
Another exporter based in western region said that a small consignment of around 1,000 tons was sold to Chinese buyers at $ 117/t CFR China in Containers.
