- India’s imported scrap prices are trending down following the price trend in Turkey. However, a few deals for heavy melting scrap (HMS) were recorded, as per SteelMint sources.
- Around 300 t of Dubai-origin HMS (80:20) was recently booked at $550/t, CFR Mundra basis.
- Containerised HMS (80:20) scrap offers from West Africa are at around $560-565/t CFR Chennai, a significant drop of $10-12/t w-o-w.
