IF route rebar prices fell by up to INR 1,200/t in major markets except in south India. Lack of buying enquiries across regions forced rebar suppliers to lower offers. Fluctuation in steel billet prices in key markets resulted in buyers remaining less active than usual in procuring material in bulk. Manufacturers are offering tradable discounts in line with raw material movements.
