Imported HRC offers to Pakistan have dropped by $40-50/t w-o-w over dull buying interest and decline in steel futures weighing on the demand outlook. Offers for Chinese origin HRC (SS400) are at around $840-860/t CFR Karachi this week, down from $890-900/t the previous week. Downtrend in global HRC export offers and challenges in issuing of LCs amid political instability remain the key reasons.
