Nornickel, the world’s largest producer of palladium and high-grade nickel, announced preliminary consolidated production results for Q1CY’22. Consolidated nickel output increased by 10% y-o-y to 52,000 t. The increase was attributed to the low base of the first quarter of 2021 when the Oktyabrsky and Taimyrsky mines were temporarily suspended.
