Seaborne coking coal market (Asia) continues to remain underpressure due to absence of Chinese buyers and Indian mills showing less buyinginterest.
Premium low volume material is available at $152/MT (FOBAustralia) converting to $169/MT (CFR India), whereas HCC 64 mid volume isavailable at $138/MT (FOB). Panamax vessel cost from Australia to India is ataround $17/MT.
In the absence of Chinese participants the focus shifts toIndia, where interest is seen at a limited level due to weak steel market.
