Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers observed lack of trade enquiries and transactions in the spot market, but on the basis of previous booking orders they didn’t open prices over the last couple of days. Today they floated offers at INR 61,500/t exw, down INR 2,500/t as against the previous offer. Trade discounts via the resellers are assessed at around INR 2,000/t.
