China: Ferro chrome imports surge 40%, m-o-m, in March

Ferro chrome imports by China increased by 40% m-o-m to 184,213 t in Mar’22 from 131,963 t in Feb. However, imports of ferro chrome decreased by 42% y-o-y in Mar. The major exporting countries to China were South Africa at 79,644 t (up 53% m-o-m) followed by Kazakhstan at 59,497 t (up 110%), India at 24,176 t and Zimbabwe at 15,920 t (up 145% on the month).
