Kirloskar Ferrous, a major pig iron producer based in south India, has concluded deals for two rakes (5,000 t) of foundry grade pig iron to Punjab, as per sources. The average price was reported at around INR 62,400/t ex-siding Phillaur in Ludhiana, Punjab. Earlier on 13 Apr’22, Tata Metaliks had sold a rake of foundry grade pig iron to Punjab at INR 60,000/t ex-siding Phillaur.
