Mills cut pellet offers by up to INR 500/t ($7/t) in Raipur, central India

Raipur, Chhattisgarh-based pellet producers have decreased offers for domestic buyers by INR 300-500/t ($4-7/t) from INR 12,000-12,300/t ($157-161/t) to INR 11,500-12,000/t exw ($150-157/t). Declining sponge iron prices and cheaper landed offers from neighbouring Odisha have pulled down offers in Raipur, SteelMint notes.
