Mesco Steel, located at Cuttack (Odisha) is currently operating at 389 cubic meters blast furnace and produces both steel and foundry grade Pig iron, with a production capacity of 300,000 MTPA.
In the mid of July, the company is to commission another blast furnace of 389 cubic meters at Cuttack and its annual Pig iron production capacity is to touch 600,000 MTPA.
It is to produce both steel and foundry grade from its to be commissioned blast furnace.
Mesco Steel is presently offering Pig iron at Rs 22,500/MT (steel) and Rs 24,000/MT (foundry) (Ex works prices) to domestic buyers.
