Pig iron prices across India witness a mixed reaction

Pig iron (steel) prices fall by Rs 200-500/MT at Bokaro and Rourkela due to price cut by NINL.

Pig iron makers in Raipur and Giridih raise offers by Rs 300-500/MT on supply (low) and demand (decent) mismatch. 

In Durgapur and Kharagpur (West Bengal), offers for foundry grade material has fallen by Rs 200/MT or kept unchanged. Where as, prices of steel grade material have either moved up by Rs 200-500/MT or stabilized on slight improvement in demand.

Foundry grade Pig iron prices in Karnataka, Hyderabad and Chennai met with a sharp fall by up to Rs 1,00/MT due to poor off take.
