INDIA – Tata Steel's crude steel production up by 26% in FY'13 

Tata Steel completed FY’13 with an overall increase in Production and Sales volumes. The year registered its best ever performance in Hot Metal, Crude Steel, Salable Steel production and total Sales. 

Total crude steel production in FY'13 was 2.29 Mn tons against 1.83 Mn tons in FY'12 (A jump of around 26%)

Sales have also increased to 2.23 Mn Tons in FY'13 against 1.76 Mn tons in FY'12.

Ore Mines & Quarries (OMQ) achieved its highest ever iron ore dispatch of 15 Mn tons (Previous best 13.18 Mn tons in FY’12).
