China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) started inspecting the silico manganese producers in Inner Mongolia, the largest silico manganese producing province. The MEE will order the operation to stop immediately if the inspection result does not meet the standard. Consequently, the inspection is expected to have a minor impact on China’s silicomanganese supply, sources informed.
