Trade discounts for wire rods increase in central India on weak buying enquiries

Trade discounts offered by the resellers in the steel wire rod market in Raipur remained high, hovering around INR 2,500/t on 19 Apr’22, while manufacturers kept offer prices stable at INR 64,500/t exw. Weak market sentiments and the decline in billet prices resulted in the widening of trade discounts, SteelMint learnt from sources.
