India: South African RB2 coal prices at INR 22,000/t at Mangalore Port

South African RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) coal prices were assessed at INR 22,000/t at Mangalore Port, while RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) coal prices were assessed at INR 18,000/t. Enquiries from the sponge iron sector continued to remain under pressure and producers procured stocks in limited quantities as imported coal prices traded above the $300/t-mark.
