- A Bokaro-based private mill conducted an auction for 1,500 t of steel grade pig iron today on 18 April 2022. The auction was concluded at around INR 60,800-61,000/t ex-plant. The bids improved as higher offers floated through the merchant pig iron suppliers based in neighboring states.
- Steel grade Pig iron offers in Durgapur are hovering at INR 61,000/t exw, up by INR 1,000/t, d-o-d.
