India received a total of 2.3 mnt of coking coal and 0.11 mnt of pulverised coal injection (PCI) coal between 1-13 Apr’22, as per CoalMint data. Total coking coal received from Australia stood at 1.5 mnt followed by Russia at 110,000 t. JSW Steel and IMR Resources were the top buyers of Russian coal. India received 80,000 t of PCI from Russia during the same period.
