Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh increased prices by INR 1,000/t today. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 63,800/t exw. Rising raw material (sponge iron and billets) prices along with moderate trades in structural steel prompted manufacturers to raise their offers further. However, trade discounts offered by suppliers are at around INR 1,000/t.
