Taiwan: Formosa Plastics Group invites bids for thermal coal procurement

Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Group (FPG) has invited bids to procure thermal coal equivalent to two cape vessels of 5,700 kcal/kg NAR and 5,900 kcal/kg NAR respectively, a recent notification showed. The bid closing date is on 18 April 2022. The vessels would be delivered to the Port of Mailiao. Taiwan’s thermal coal imports have gained momentum in the recent months amid its rising power consumption.
