India: Ferro silicon imports marginally up by 3% m-o-m in Mar’22

Imports of ferro silicon in India inched up by 3% m-o-m to 21,384 t in Mar’22 from 20,722 t in Feb’22 owing to lower import prices compared to domestic offers, according to customs data. Major exporters to India were Bhutan 10,962 t, China 5,475 t, Malaysia 1,588 t, and Brazil 1,615 t. On a yearly basis, imports increased by 13% in Mar’22.
