Vietnam’s leading steel mill Formosa Ha Tinh (FHS) has announced a hike in its monthly HRC (SAE1006, skin pass) prices by $20/t for June deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. Post-revision, the effective price stands at $950-955/t CIF Ho Chi Minh. Increased preference towards domestically produced HRCs over imported material due to higher offers resulted in a price hike.
