Alang’s (Gujarat) ship-breaking prices rose further by INR 500/t d-o-d, SteelMint assessment shows. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 48,500/t exy. Prices remained supported on the back of healthy transactions in semi-finished steel from the last couple of days and active buying interest for scrap at the current price levels.
