India: OMC floats Tender for Sale of Iron Ore

OMC has invited bid for sale of sized CLO & Iron ore Fines available at Diatari region, Keonjhar (Odisha).

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), a state government undertaking company, is tendering for sale of 45,000 MT sized BF grade CLO & Iron ore Fines available at Diatari region, Keonjhar (Odisha).

Eligibility Criteria

For CLO

• Bidders should have their own Sponge iron, Pig iron or Steel plant. Also, they should have used Sponge or BF grade Iron ore for their own purpose
• Agencies, which are involved in OMC’s mining activities and having Iron ore lease, are not allowed to participate
• Traders are not eligible for participation in this tender

For Iron ore Fines

• End-users & traders shall participate in this tender
• Agencies are not allowed to participate, which are involved in OMC’s mining activities and having Iron ore lease

Total Quantity: 45,000 MT

Place & Mode of Delivery: Ex-stockyard (Baliparbat), OMC’s Iron ore mine in Daitari

Delivery Period

• For CLO (Sized): Till 31 Dec. 2014
• For Iron ore Fines: Till 30 Nov,2014

• Bid submission due date: 13.00 hrs on 08 Sep, 2014
• Bid opening date: 15.00 hrs on 08 Sep, 2014
