China: Steel inventory at mills rises sharply in early April

In the first 10 days of Apr’22, the steel inventory of key iron and steel enterprises in China stood at 18.48 mnt, an increase of 1.86 mnt or 11.24% m-o-m and an increase of 1.80 mnt over the same 10 days of March. Compared with the beginning of the year, inventory increased by 7.1912 mnt or 63.66%, while it increased by 2.99 mnt compared with the year-ago period.
