- Prices of domestic 304 grade stainless steel scrap remained stable, while 316 grade scrap prices increased by INR 3,000/t ($39/t) compared with 7 Apr’22.
- The effective prices of 304 grade scrap is INR 193,000/t ($2,535/t) and grade 316 scrap prices are at INR 284,000/t ($3,731/t) exy Delhi.
- Stable LME prices and softer demand from top north Indian manufacturers kept prices of 304 scrap stable, while supply shortage led to the hike in 316 scrap prices.
