India: Hindalco, Balco lower aluminium ingots prices by up to INR 13,000/t ($171/t)

Hindalco and Balco reduced primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 12,500/t ($164/t) and INR 13,000 ($171/t) respectively.
Hindalco’s effective price is at INR 281,750/t ($3,708/t) exw, while Balco’s price stands at INR 284,000/t ($3,738/t) exw.
The three-month LME aluminum contract price was recorded at $3,248/t yesterday, down $126/t as against $3,374/t the previous trading day.
