Iran’s domestic billet and rebar prices rose sharply after the Nowruz (Persian New Year) holidays on supply concerns due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict and strong export demand for billets, especially from Turkey, sources informed SteelMint.
- Steel billets prices rose sharply by 8,500 Rial/Kg to 162,500 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 9 Mar’22.
- Rebar prices stood at 179,000 Rial/Kg on 11 April, a steep rise of 11,000 Rial/Kg.
