Copper wire supply is expected to decrease in Apr-Jun’22 by 10-20% from the previous quarter due to shortage, as per Japan Copper and Brass Association. The demand for copper strips is expected to reach a record high this year, owing to strong demand for semiconductors and automobiles, a Japan Metal Daily report indicates.
