SAIL conducted an auction for 1,400 t of silico manganese (Mn 52-57%, 0-3mm, 3-10mm) on 8 Apr’22 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant in Maharashtra. Out of 1,400 t buyers booked 300 t of silico manganese (Mn 52%, 0-3mm) at INR 76,580/t exw, while 300 t of 57% grade was booked at INR 90,660/t exw owing to weak demand, sources informed.
