Stainless steel scrap (400 series) auctions conducted by auto component producers in north India this week received positive response. A Rajasthan-based auto parts producer held an auction on 7 Apr’22 in which around 150 t of stainless steel scrap received bids at INR 64,200-400/t exw. A Haryana-based auto parts producer booked around 100 t of turning chips for INR 41,600-800/t.
