HR strip (patra) prices fell by INR 1,000/t in Mandi Gobindgarh and INR 800/t in Raipur on 8 Apr’22 on low domestic demand. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are at INR 60,300/t exw Mandi and INR 60,000/t exw Raipur. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 61,600/t and at INR 62,500/t in Mandi last week, excluding GST.
