India: Vedanta’s alumina and aluminium production edge up in FY’22

Vedanta’s alumina production was recorded at the highest-ever level in FY’22 reaching 1.97 mnt, up 7% y-o-y from 1.84 mnt in FY’21. Moreover, aluminium production touched a record-high of 2.27 mnt, up 15% y-o-y driven by ramp up in production and operational efficiency, according to company sources.
